I’m planning on buying a new car, but my car is currently worth more than the car I want to buy. I’d like to trade it in for the new car, but i don’t think the dealer would pay me the difference. Would they?

I am buying a new car and want to use my car as a trade-in. I have a 93 Grand Prix and it is in pretty rough shape. How would I find out how much my car is worth including the oil leak it has, some body damage. Please don’t say Kelly Blue Book b/c that seems to only apply to newer cars.
